2. Accessing the website
When a page loads, the serving host processes connection data such as IP address, request time, requested files, browser details and possibly referrer. This supports secure delivery and troubleshooting under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Recipients include hosting and operating service providers. Logs are retained under the applicable hosting configuration only as required for operation, security or legal obligations. Contact the controller for the actual retention period.
3. Calculators and training inputs
BMI, protein, 1RM and plate calculators process inputs in your browser. The application does not transmit these values to the operator or permanently save calculator inputs. The journal contains only the exercises, loads, sets, repetitions, dates and training times you enter. There is no user account or server synchronisation.
4. Local storage you request
Selecting “save locally” stores your journal in this browser’s local storage. Checking shopping items saves the checklist you request. Storage is used solely for that chosen function (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). It remains until you or the browser deletes it. Other people with access to the same browser may read it. The button below deletes all entries stored by SO-GYM. Exported files on your device must be deleted separately.
5. Jarvis voice coach
The coach reads predefined text using browser or operating-system speech synthesis, starting only after your action. It offers only voices reported as local by the browser. If none is available, written cues remain usable. SO-GYM uses no speech server, records no speech and requests no microphone access. Your device or browser provider’s notices also apply to the technical provision of the device voice.
6. Media, links and cookies
Images, scripts and styles are served with the site. The application sets no analytics or advertising cookies and embeds no external videos, font servers or tracking services. Source links open external sites only when clicked; their notices then apply. Existing parent-domain cookies may technically accompany requests. Separate portal services are described in the SO-Portal privacy notice.
7. Contact and your rights
If you contact us by email, we process sender and message details to handle your request (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Data is deleted when no longer needed, subject to retention duties. Under GDPR you have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to a supervisory authority, such as LDI North Rhine-Westphalia. The operator cannot retrieve your locally stored training records.
