06 / KNOWLEDGE & SOURCES

Understand your
progress.

Training can feel futuristic. Its foundations remain grounded: regular movement, suitable nutrition and recovery.

01

Your brain needs no unlock code.

The familiar ten-percent myth is false. Brain regions work together across the day; there is no unused ninety-percent reserve for superpowers. The movie-inspired atmosphere is a design choice, not a scientific claim.

Movement is more than lifting.

WHO recommends 150–300 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75–150 minutes of vigorous activity each week, plus muscle strengthening on at least two days. Begin at your current level and build gradually. All movement counts.

Supplements remain optional.

Creatine may support repeated short, intense efforts, but does not replace training. Protein powder is a convenient addition when it fits your diet. Do not automatically start several products. Check suitability with a professional if you have a condition or take medication.

Caffeine is not a requirement.

EFSA identifies up to 200 mg in a single dose and 400 mg spread across the day as amounts without general safety concerns for healthy adults. These are not target doses. Sensitivity, medicines, pregnancy and sleep need separate consideration. Count all sources.

Progress takes many forms.

More confident technique, another repetition or easier daily activity are all progress. Body-weight changes alone do not tell the whole story. You do not need a guaranteed weekly gain or daily body checking.

Record your journey

Eight weeks as a guide

WEEK 01–02

Learn the movements

Light loads, a few controlled sets and suitable training days. Notice how you recover.

WEEK 03–05

Build your routine

Record working weights. Progress in small steps only with controlled technique and good recovery.

WEEK 06–08

Review your progress

Compare your entries. Reduce volume if tired. Plan the next weeks around your actual progress.

Editorial approach

Content was developed from supplied source material and editorially revised. Blanket success percentages, fixed weight-gain promises, supplement requirements and unsupported snack claims were not retained. The A/B plan alternates squat and hip-hinge emphasis; squats do not occur on every training day.
