Terms of use for the SO Public Transport Planner
The planner is a free information and planning tool provided by SO-Portal. It does not itself sell transport services and does not replace authoritative passenger or fare information.
Timetable & realtime
Displayed times, platforms, bays, disruptions and realtime values depend on the supplied data. Missing realtime data does not automatically mean that a service is on time. Official information from the relevant transport operator remains authoritative.
Tickets & Deutschlandticket
Ticket information is for guidance. Additional conditions or costs may apply in particular to long-distance travel, cross-border journeys, demand-responsive services, bicycles or special fares. Please check the provider’s fare and carriage conditions before travelling.
Routes & maps
Walking, bicycle and map displays may differ from local conditions because geodata can be incomplete or outdated. Traffic rules, closures, signs, barriers and actual accessibility on site always take precedence.
Saved journeys & favourites
Browser favourites and saved journeys are convenience functions. They can be lost through browser cleanup, device changes, private modes or technical changes. Before travelling later, the journey should be checked again for current information.
Token sharing
Shared journeys can be accessed through a random link by anyone who knows that link. Therefore share a token only with the intended recipients. Token links are time-limited and permanent availability is not guaranteed.
Availability & external services
There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability of individual functions or external data sources. Maintenance, rate limits, network issues or changes by third parties may temporarily restrict features.
Permitted use
Automated bulk requests, bypassing protection mechanisms, misuse of the sharing function or actions that unnecessarily burden the service or its data sources are not permitted.
Portal-wide terms of use
The general SO-Portal terms of use also apply. In the event of conflicts or future changes, the current portal-wide version published there should be observed.
